A Brilliant Night Bar Hopping In Midtown

November 07, 2017

Visiting NYC just for a couple of days? Let us be your guide! Midtown is an electric part of town with tons of nighttime adventures. Check out our three favorite bars and cocktail lounges:

The Rum House

This 1970s vintage piano bar has nightly live jazz acts, a vibrant crowd, and killer rum-inspired libations, making it hard to beat. In an area saturated with tourist traps, this bar boast authenticity and charm.

The Rum House, 228 W 47th St, (646) 490-6924

Lantern’s Keep

Redefining midtown, Lantern's Keep is the perfect spot for classic cocktails in an understated but high-end environment. Marble tables and light blue velvet chairs set the scene for a 1920s European salon feel. The walls are adorned with impressionistic paintings, elevating the space and making it date-worthy.

Lantern’s Keep, 49 W 44th St (212) 453-4287

Jimmy’s Corner

Round out our evening by popping in to a dive bar. Get in touch with NYC history at this boxing-themed bar, dedicated to the owner Jimmy Glenn. His images are plastered along the walls and coaching stories fill the charismatic space.

Jimmy’s Corner, 140 W 44th St (212) 221-9501

Feeling sleepy? Return to U Hotel and slip into one of our plush bathrobes for a cozy night under the covers.
